Martini distinguished at the Packaging Oscars 2007
Bacardi-Martini was rewarded, in the Consumable Products/Beverages category, for the new Martini bottle at the 52st "Packaging Oscars" announced in Paris, France on November 27, 2007.
With its new, slender silhouette, and more feminine allure, the bottle sets itself apart from the previous one with a resolutely modern design. Featuring embossing at the shoulder and above the heel, the Martini bottle presents a new, glamorous, and sophisticated look, ornamented with gold foil outlines, evoking the world of perfumes. The new creation is the fruit of commercial and manufacturing synergies between several Packaging Sector companies: Vetri (in Dego and Lonigo), Vicasa (in Zaragoza and Burgos), and the Verrerie d'Albi, as well as Saint-Gobain Emballage in France who coordinated the project on the commercial level.
The Packaging Oscars is an annual event that brings together the main players from the packaging world in France (including retailers, packaging companies, manufacturers and designers) to reward the best new initiatives in four areas: consumer products, retailing, production and environmental protection.
